Puppy Start Right Class

You’ll receive expert coaching, practical tools, and step-by-step guidance to help you confidently work through common puppy challenges while setting your dog up for lifelong success.
Class topics: socialization, exploration, crate training, house training, stop jumping up, walking nicely on leash, play biting, sit, come when called, leave-it, feeling comfortable at Veterinary visits and much more!
The first step after registration is to watch the orientation video and stop by Down Dog Studio at a scheduled time to pick up your class book and material.
Please consider your schedule carefully and make sure your puppy has the required age appropriate vaccines , as no refunds will be given.

Open Enrollment:
Our classes run on a rotating 5-week curriculum cycle. New students can join as soon as a spot becomes available, and because the curriculum topics repeat in sequence, each dog works on the same lesson focus as the rest of the class. Regardless of when you begin, you will receive the full set of classes in the complete curriculum.You and your pup can start class when there is a class vacancy. We limit class spots to 6-7 pups. Once the class is full the software will open up the next open class spot/date.
Vaccine requirements: All puppies must be current on vaccines that are age appropriate. An 8 week old puppy must have their Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccine and have had their first Distemper/Parvo vaccine.
A 12 week old puppy must have had 2 distemper/parvo vaccines (one at 8 weeks and one at 12 weeks) and their Bordetella vaccine. A 16 week old puppy must have completed the series of 3 distemper/parvo Vaccine (one at approximately 8, 12 and 16 weeks) and their Bordetella vaccine. At 16 weeks dogs are old enough to have had their Rabies vaccine. This is a requirement for any dog 16 weeks and older.
